I began skating at the age of two in Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan, a town deeply passionate about hockey. At eleven, my interest in goaltending sparked while watching Patrick Roy's spectacular glove saves.

Inspired by my older brother Peter, a ten-year NHL veteran as a left winger, I understood that pursuing my passion required dedication, attention to detail, and hard work.

After years of training, I earned a spot on a tier two junior team in the SJHL, leading to an induction into their hall of fame. This opportunity paved the way for a full scholarship at Providence College, where I excelled as an All-American and on the All-Academic Team, setting a record for saves over four years.

In the 2000 NHL entry draft, I was selected 155th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 5th round. Starting in the ECHL, I quickly climbed the ranks, achieving a memorable NHL moment with a 5-0 winning streak, boasting a 1.83 GAA and .935 SVS%.

Over twelve seasons, including stints in the KHL and Swiss NLA, I pursued my passion for the game. Post-retirement, I co-founded Clear Sight Analytics with Steve Valiquette, providing valuable insights to NHL teams, which I integrate into coaching my students today.

For the past decade, I have coached goalies of all levels, including Jonathan Quick, a three-time Stanley Cup Champion with the New York Rangers. Currently residing in Milford, Connecticut, I balance coaching with raising and homeschooling my five daughters alongside my wife, Lisa, of twenty years.
