Quick, name the only Division I hockey program that hasn’t had a losing record over the past 15 seasons. It’s not Boston College or Michigan or Minnesota or any other brand-name hockey school. It’s the Quinnipiac Bobcats.
We tried other goalie camps in the past, but we have stayed with Valiquette for the past 5 years – and here is why: Steve is a hands-on mentor. He is at all sessions and truly cares about the development of each of his students. The Valiquette camp has both ice time and off-ice training, including nutrition classes and “chalk talk,” where the boys learn about different game scenarios they may encounter. My son looks forward to his training sessions with Steve, because Steve really cares and it shows!
